Adult

Small, mostly grey or yellowish grey, with very short setae on mesonotum and legs. Head of characteristically angular shape, frons and face forming almost a right-angle in profile, face very sunken, face and 3rd antennal segment very long; Antennae almost reaching to lower facial margin in frontal view. Arista virturally bare. Hind tibia has no calcar, and wing-veins bare.
