Hind femur strongly swollen, with long whitish hairs beneath.

Male

Wing length 4-6.25 mm. having a squarish third antennal segment with the arista arising quite near the upper corner. Sternite 4 has a V-shaped hind margin, with a short notch at the bottom of the V. The parameres in profile have toadstool like caps on the ends.
