Adult

Eyes present; pronotum with lines, dots, and blotches; tegmina and hind wings developed, extending well beyond metanotum; tarsal claws asymmetrical; interstylar margin of subgenital plate deeply concavely excavated with a small, projecting medial lobe; cerci elongated, extending well beyond hind margin of supra-anal plate. MALE abdominal terga unspecialised.

Nymph

Eyes present; pronotum without stripes, but covered with a dark macula on anterior two-thirds, background whitish; abdomen without stripes, mottled with dark spots on whitish background; cerci extending beyond hind margin of supra-anal plate.
