Large cockroach, 25-30 mm long; black with yellow pattern; tegmina reduced in both sexes to small lobes (4 mm long); hind wings absent; posterior margin of pronotum strongly sinuate; pronotum with a pale band along anterior margin; supraanal plate with a strong, median, V-shaped notch.

Ootheca

With average of 22 eggs.
