Female

Dorsal idiosomal shield completely divided in two. Opisthonotal shield having a pair of posterior projections bearing setae Z4 and S5. Podonotal shield lacking paravertical setae z1, and with j2 well behind level of j1. Sternal shield with third pair of sternal pores, fourth pair of sternal setae on soft cuticle. Epigynial shield truncate posteriorly. Peritrematal shields broad, truncate posteriorly. Ventri-anal shield with 5-6 pairs of setae in addition to circum-anal setae. Corniculi of hypostome entire apically. Genu I with 12 setae (av-2 absent). Movable chela usually bidentate.

Male

Similar to female. Ventri-anal shield separated from peritrematal shields.
