Larva

Prodorsum with one pair of eyes; prodorsal sclerite roughly rectangular or nearly circular, usually longer than wide. Cheliceral base short, width of distal half nearly equal to basal width. Palpal tibial claw with a prominent tooth on inner surface, without hypertrophied setae near base of claw; palpal trochanter and femur each with 1 seta; palpal genu with 2 setae. Coxal fields II and III each usually with 1 seta; trochanter of leg I with 3 setae, trochanter of leg II with 2-3 setae; genu II and III each usually with 9 barbed setae, without sigma. Pretarsal empodium claw-like; one or both pretarsal claws setiform.

Female

Prodorsum with a pair of eyes; with 2 circular urnulae near eyes; naso not well developed. Anal opening ventral, not terminal or dorsal. Palpal tibia and genu without cone or peg shaped setae; palpal tibial claw with a prominent tooth on inner surface; palpal genu not enlarged.
