Plautia brunneipennis Montrouzier. — This insect resembles P. fimbriata even more strongly than does P. affinis. It has the same size, form, and color, but it is more strongly punctured, the apical margin of the scutellum is pallid, and the edge of the abdomen is without the black points found in that species and affinis.
