Adults yellow-brown dorsally; meso- and metathorax and abdomen blackish; abdomen apex brownish.Head with clypeus pale, concolorous with remainder of head.Antennae mostly blackish. Pronotum unmargined anteriorly, with transverse sulcus usually straight, sometimes interrupted in middle. Elytra finely, densely, confusedly punctured, shining, not microsculptured, epipleura strongly narrowed behind basal third. Procoxal cavities open behind. Legs blackish in various degrees, tibiae yellow. Tarsal claws bifid. In male,1st antennal segment broadened, but interantennal area not modified; humerus covered with erect hairs; 5th abdominal sternite apically trilobed, its median lobe deeply sulcate at middle. In female, pygidium produced posteriorly and sharply pointed apically, not trilobed. Body length 6.4-7.5 mm.
