The identity of this record is uncertain. Williams & Watson (1990: 134) indicated that there was an undescribed species they recognised on coconut from the Solomon Islands.

Description from Williams & Watson (1990) Genus contains species with marginal setae modified into fan-shaped or triangular structures that often overlap. Dorsum of schletosied in various quadrate patterns or divided by membranous radila lines. Antennae present, legs present (sometimes absent). Eyes dorsal and submarginal. Stigmatic clefts deep, possess 3 finger-like setae at base.
