Female sometimes micropterous or short-winged, light brown, fore tarsi and tibiae yellow, forewings light brown. Antennae 7-segmented. Head as wide as long, with 2 pairs of ocellar setae; pair III small and arising lateral to ocellar triangle, postocular setae small. Pronotum with 2 pairs of posteroangular setae, posterior margin with 4 pairs of setae. Metanotum with irregular longitudinal lines on posterior half, with transverse lines at anterior; median setae arising behind anterior margin, campaniform sensilla absent. Forewing first vein with 5 to 11 setae on distal half, second vein with row of about 12 setae. Tergite II with 3 lateral marginal setae, V–VIII with ctenidia present laterally, on VIII posteromesad to spiracles; posterior margin of VIII with complete comb of small irregular microtrichia, some arising from common bases; pleurotergites without discal setae. Sternites III–VII with 10 to 15 discal setae in an irregular double row, II sometimes with a single discal seta.
