Dark brown, body length 4-5mm, four spines on each side of elytral declivity, third is largest and is capitate; the elytral declivity surface is dull and finely punctate. The pronotum is covered with asperites on the anterior half. Viewed from above, erect yellow hairs protrude from the body perimeter and margins of the declivity.
