Adults are 4.5 to 5 mm long, black to dark brown in colour with reddish brown colour across anterior margin of pronotum. Antennae are reddish brown. The pronotum slightly narrower than elytra. The frons is marked with dense punctures. The pronotum is conspicuously and densely punctate. The elytra is coarsely punctate-striate.
