Adults are 2.5 to 3 mm long, reddish brown to dark brown in colour. Antennae are reddish brown. The pronotum as wide as elytra. The frons is marked with dense punctures. The pronotum is conspicuously and densely punctate except for medium longitudinal impunctate and shining, raised ridge. The elytra are coarsely punctate-striate.
