Vasiform orifice small, elliptical; lingula obscured by operculum whihc nearly fills orifice; Margin with coarse teeth, each tooth with a gland at its base which gives margin the appearance of having a "double row of teeth"; subdorsal folds ofetn coming to a point above the head; marginal teeth not modified at regions of thoracic and caudal tracheal openings. Caudal furrow absent. Puparia often covered with flocculent wax.
