Female brown, tarsi yellow also base and apex of tibiae and antennal segment III; forewings pale. Antennae 8-segmented. Head wider than long, with 3 pairs of ocellar setae, pair I small in front of fore ocellus, pair III long and arising on anterior margins of ocellar triangle. Pronotum with 2 pairs of posteroangular setae. Metanotum with transverse reticulation, median setae arising at anterior margin. Forewing first vein with two setae distally, second vein with about 16 setae. Tergites with no ctenidia; tergite VIII with posteromarginal comb of long regular microtrichia. Sternite VII with median 2 pairs of setae arising in front of posterior margin.

Male smaller than female, tergite VIII with complete comb, sternites III-VII with irregular pair of transverse rows of more than 10 small glandular areas.
