Habitat

Description

In Vic the species is known from dry open eucalypt forest. Prior to 2003 only one specimen had been recorded from Vic, at the Little River Gorge, Snowy River National Park. An isolated, strong, breeding colony has since been located on a few Kurrajong trees at Buchan. The species is endemic to Australia occurring from south eastern NSW to north eastern Qld with a second subspecies recognised from north of Mission Beach, Qld.
