Adult

Head orange yellow, slightly darker on postclypeus; thorax, abdomen, and appendages pale to medium reddish brown. Sclerotized strips of anterior margins of abdominal terga prominent on tg 3-8. Sculpture of vertex: clearly differentiated transverse areoles with granulate surfaces, separated by depressed lines; well sclerotized portions of abdominal terga with polygonal areoles bearing relatively large, diffuse nodules, delimited posteriorly by continuous rows of nodules.

Female: Compound eye with 7 ommatidia.
