Description

An economically important pest of wheat and brassica crops in New Zealand

Generally feeds on weeds and grasses and will move into cultivated crops where they do considerable damage.

Host plants include: Asteraceae, Carphophyllaceae, Cruciferae, Juncaceae, Linaceae, Leguminosae, Polygonaceae and Portulaceae, also found on Myrtaceae and Rosaceae.
