Forewing brown with black markings and white dots. Hind wing plain brown. Forewing 6-9 mm. Antennae are setiform with distinct segments.

Wing span of adult female 17-20mm and male 15-18mm.

Male hindwings with a short pleat along vein CuA2; male hind tibia with one apical spur swollen and distorted (note: apical spurs slender in Cryptophlebia).
