Description

Native to Asia but has now spread to many of the coffee growing areas of the world. Known from: French Guinea, widely spread through tropical areas of West Africa, coffee growing areas of East Africa, Madagascar, Mauritius, Seychelles, India, Malaysia, Java, Sumatra, Fiji, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Samoa.; in Japan it attacks tea; Cambodia, China, Central and South America locations include Brazil, Puerto Rico and Cuba; In USA established in Hawaii and throughout Florida and from North Carolina to eastern Texas.
