Achene appendages: Beak as long as the body, Pappus 15 - 25mm

Achene Colour: Yellow

Achene Length: Greater than 10mm

Achene Sculpture: Dorsally striate and ribbed, ventral becoming smooth

Achene Shape: Lanceolate (Lance shaped)

Achenes ribbed, 10–12 mm long, beak as long as body, outer coarsely muricate, inner becoming smooth; pappus 15–25 mm long, plumose, in 2 rows.
